BACKGROUND

March 2, 2021, Governor Abbott issued an Executive Order that went into effect March 10 at 12:01 am. Among other items, this order lifted the statewide mask mandate that's been in place since last July. The City extended the Mask Policy for 30 days, effective March 10, 2021 and it is now time to review that decision. Factors in the decision include the Senior Center, Library and the Vaccine Clinics, as well as the impact on Public Safety.
