This is not a regular or special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, but a quorum of the board may be present. NO OFFICIAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.

Discussion Items

Parks Tour - The board will be traveling to each park below to view the renovations, updates, and developing projects.

Ashley Park (534 Ashley Park) - The renovations on Ashley Park include:

New pavilion with a barbeque pit and picnic tables
New playground
Restroom renovations including, new toilets, sinks, and painted floors

Great Northern Trail (17504 Wiederstein Rd) - Newly input trail including:

New split rail fence
Pedestrian crossing light
New trails
Dog waste stations & trash cans
Wildflowers

Wendy Swan Park (4601 Cherry Tree Drive) - The renovations on Wendy Swan Park include:

New splash pad
Dog waste stations

Hilltop/Homestead Park (Intersection of Homestead Parkway and 17504 Hartley Square) - This new park includes:

Conceptual Plans
Rebuilt the dam for the pond
Installation of trails started

Heritage Oaks Park (11700 Long Leaf Parkway) - The renovations on Heritage Oaks Park include:

Basketball Court
Playground Safety Surfacing

Rhine Valley Park (9958 Mulhouse Dr) - The renovations on Rhine Valley Park include:

Dog waste stations & trash cans
Shade structure over the playground
Playground Safety Surfacing
New lights in the pavilion
